Philippe de Montbarbon has always been as much an ‘Ingredient-hunter’ looking for original tastes, as a ‘Chef de cuisine’.
Food and cooking is more of a passion for him than just a profession.
After many years of success in St.Tropez and Paris is he now based in
Morocco at the Sea Port of Larache.
Here he has access to the best Sea products from the Atlantic and Mediterranean Sea,
vegetables and fruits from traditional cultures and the spices of the ‘Silk Road’
….. long forgotten tastes…
Our guests enjoy high-end standard meals of a kitchen that is pure and traditional,
sometimes minimalist, sometimes inventive, always avant-garde…

Villa Zara _________________________________________________ At the Villa we receive a few guests in a private atmosphere . There is a small apartment with terrace and panoramic view at disposition for those who want to stay overnight... A perfect place for 2 to 6 guests. Philippe will help discovering this still quite untouched part of a beautiful country, far from all mass tourisme. 
Corporate and Leisure Team building Events ___________________________________________________________________________________ We organize since 1998 differents types of events for meetings, seminares, parties, weddings and other. Our specialty is running these events in unusual locations. A gourmet buffet with four white pianos in the snow or a seafood lunch for a manager team on a racing yacht, .........we have done it. Our Table d'hôtes _____________________________________________ We prepare some of the best Moroccan and French meals, seafood and fish... Discover some of the finest olive-oils, mountain salts and exotic spices, Tagines, lamb-roasts, couscous... ...only on reservation.  |
Now we offer the same services in Morroco.
Most times we receive our guests at the Villa Zara or in a 'Picnic' location with great view and caracter. Relax in traditional Morrocan Tents, with their carpets, cushions, low tables, belly dancers, water pipe and other folklore. We serve gourmet meals, prepared on site, with the freshest ingredients and greatest care.
If requiered we also organize team building activities, ranging from donkey rides in the montains, or discovery circuits of a romain archeological site, to cooking classes and photo safaris by boat, in midst of thousands of pink flamingoes

Our Citrus Products ______________________________________________________ Philippe has always been an afecionado of homemade Jams, Marmelades and Fruit Syrups. Here, at the presumed location of the 'Gardens of Hespherides', Hercule already collected "golden apples".... ...the oranges and other citrus fruits that are abundant in this region. Our 'maitre confiturier' is in paradise here. He offers a wide range of products made of well selected fruits, canne sugar and condiments, without any other additives or colorants. He works with traditional copperpots and know-how.
